enPuls Pro fires a relatively heavy projectile at a comparatively low impact speed. The energy is carried by the volume of the pulse rather than a sharp amplitude spike — the "softshot" wave.
The slower rise time, roughly 13.5 µs against ~3.5 µs on compressed-air systems, means the wave reaches the tissue without the typical whip-like sensation, so patients tolerate treatment better without a change in clinical dose.

Pro steps up from the 8" display on enPuls 2.0 to a full 12" color touchscreen running every software operation, paired with rotary dials for energy and frequency and a multidirectional foot switch to trigger the shockwave.
