Medially and laterally integrated silicone pads also distribute the compression pressure evenly and contribute by a massage effect to a rapid decomposition of edema. The pressure-reduced, elastic end edges also contribute to a high wearing comfort by providing a smooth transition from the bandage to the skin without cutting in. Last but not least, the open, cell-shaped structure of the knitted fabric ensures a high breathability, while the microfiber yarn used ensures good moisture transport.
