Mission & philosophy
Improve performance and reduce injury – at every level
Brad's mission is to give athletes, clinicians and clients the most effective tools and strategies to improve performance and reduce injury, from elite competitors to recreational athletes. He believes every client can be a champion.
Evidence, not hype
No gimmicks. Brad relies on scientifically proven practices aimed at maximizing performance and health.
Assess first
Every athlete is assessed and screened for movement issues. Programs are built around the demands of the sport, training experience, injury history and functional ability.
Ongoing evaluation
The key to success is continuous evaluation that drives each individual's program – bridging theory and practice to prepare athletes for the real demands of their sport.
Treatment & sports medicine
Brad's areas of clinical expertise
Functional Integrated Treatment (FIT)
A comprehensive rehabilitation approach to improve tissue health, restore movement and mobility and re-educate the nervous system, with long-term, goal-driven plans for patients referred by physicians, chiropractors and allied health professionals.
Movement Re-Education
A progressive, pain-free plan to restore movement and mobility. Movement screening identifies faulty patterns and muscle imbalances, which are then addressed with corrective functional exercise.
Kinesiology & Fascial Movement Taping
Taping to reduce pain, improve or correct movement and influence fluid dynamics to reduce post-injury swelling – for example in jumper's knee, plantar fasciitis and complex shoulder pain.
Performance Kinesiology Taping
Contoured application with specific stretch and positioning to influence skin sensation, blood flow and neural communication, supporting healing, mobility and motor re-education around an injury.
Fascial Stretch Therapy
A flexibility system built on active movement patterns rather than static stretching alone, to improve joint health, muscle and fascial flexibility, and joint awareness and mobility.
Fascial Abrasion
Instrument-assisted techniques using the Fascial Abrasion Tool to improve fascial and soft-tissue health and mobility.
Dry Needling & Performance Acupuncture
Fine needles inserted at specific points to help reduce pain and inflammation and re-educate the nervous system.
