Electromagnetic ballistic shockwave, precisely controlled
The SW3200 Basic generates radial shockwaves electromagnetically: a projectile is accelerated along a precision ballistic path inside the handpiece, and the resulting shockwave is transmitted into tissue through the applicator and a coupling gel — producing a therapeutic effect at the treatment site.
Built for daily clinical use
The wired handpiece connects to a compact, battery-powered control unit with a colour touchscreen, a physical adjustment knob, and shortcut buttons for manual therapy, saved favourites, and guided protocols. A fully charged battery supports roughly 20,000 shocks at 120 mJ / 10 Hz, with a full recharge in under 3 hours — or the unit can run continuously from mains power.
Energy, frequency and shock count are all independently adjustable, and the device stores up to 30 custom protocols alongside its pre-programmed protocol library, so a clinic can standardise treatment across practitioners while still tailoring sessions to each patient.

Contraindications & precautions
Shockwave therapy is a well-tolerated modality when used within its intended scope. As with any clinical device, treatment should only be carried out by trained professionals who understand its limitations.
Should not be used
- On or near vascular disease
- Over local infections
- Around malignant or benign tumours
- Directly on cartilage or small spinal facet joints
- Over implanted electronic devices (pacemakers, pumps)
- Near metal implants after a fracture
- Over open wounds
- After fractures, torn or damaged muscle fibres
Generally advise against
- Blood clotting disorders or anticoagulant therapy
- During pregnancy
- Neurological disease affecting vasomotor function in the area
- Over air-filled cavities (e.g. thoracic spine)
- On children, particularly near growth plates
Use caution with patients
- With impaired sensibility
- With severe autonomic disorders
- Under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Treatment may occasionally cause irritation, petechiae, bruising, swelling, pain, discomfort or redness at the treatment site. Ear protection is recommended for both patient and operator during treatment. Refer to the full instructions for use for the complete list of warnings and precautions.
Three applicator types, one 15mm fitting
Applicators screw directly onto the handpiece and are the part of the system that transmits the shockwave into tissue. Each is a consumable, rated for roughly 1,000,000 shocks of expected life.
Steel Round
An all-steel contact surface with a rounded profile — a firm, focused feel suited to smaller or well-defined trigger points.
Compound Round
Steel and silica-gel composite with a rounded contact surface, for a softer, cushioned transmission over broader areas.
Compound Deep
Steel and silica-gel composite with a flat contact surface, aimed at deeper tissue targets.
Each applicator ships with two differently-sized O-rings, which cushion it during use. Applicators are consumable parts — replace promptly if the rear impact dome shows significant deformation or shortening, and check weekly once an applicator has passed 300,000 shocks.
A touchscreen built for the treatment room
The home screen gives one-tap access to every mode: quick body-part guides, full manual control, the pre-programmed protocol library, and saved favourites — with brightness, volume and language all adjustable in Settings.
On-screen & hardware controls
Touch any parameter box to highlight it, then turn the adjustment knob to dial it in — the same motion works whether you're setting energy, frequency, or shock count. Dedicated buttons on the front panel jump straight to manual mode, saved favourites, or the pre-programmed protocol guide without navigating the home screen.
The screen shows live handpiece status (disconnected, ready, or working), a running shock counter that resets with one tap, and battery level at a glance.

Built for years of daily use
Minimum expected service life of the device and its supplied parts, with normal use and proper maintenance.
Expected handpiece service life; an overhaul is recommended approximately every 1,000,000 shocks.
Expected applicator and O-ring service life before replacement is recommended.
Clean the device and handpiece daily with a lint-free cloth and mild antibacterial soap — never submerge it or use solvents, sprays, or harsh chemicals. Disinfect the handpiece with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant at least weekly, and always clean and disinfect the applicator before treating a new patient. A deeper clean of the shockwave tube and projectile is recommended monthly or every 100,000 treatments.

It's intended to relieve pain and support treatment of myofascial pain syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and patellar tendinopathy, as part of a broader orthopaedic or physiotherapy treatment plan.
How long does the battery last?
A full charge takes up to 3 hours and supports roughly 20,000 shocks at typical settings (120mJ/10Hz). The device can also run continuously from mains power.
How often do applicators need replacing?
Applicators are rated for about 1,000,000 shocks. Minor shortening of the rear impact dome doesn't affect function, but replace it promptly if deformation becomes significant, and check weekly once it passes 300,000 shocks.
Can custom treatment protocols be saved?
Yes — up to 30 custom protocols can be named and saved to Favourites, alongside the built-in pre-programmed protocol library.
