The Zimmer Tecar Electrodes are high-quality applicators designed for use with Zimmer Tecar therapy units. They are available in two types—Resistive (RES) and Capacitive (CAP)—to target different tissue structures and therapeutic needs.

Capacitive (CAP) Electrodes

  • Purpose: Designed with a ceramic coating, CAP electrodes deliver energy to superficial, well-vascularized tissues such as muscles and soft tissue layers.

  • Applications: Effective for reducing muscle tension, improving circulation, and treating acute or sub-acute conditions.

  • Available Sizes: Ø 30 mm (small), Ø 50 mm (medium), Ø 70 mm (large).

Resistive (RES) Electrodes

  • Purpose: RES electrodes transmit energy deeper into the body, targeting high-resistance structures such as tendons, ligaments, and joints.

  • Applications: Ideal for chronic pain, joint stiffness, and rehabilitation in sports medicine.
