ThermoTK applies a high-frequency current the patient doesn't feel as a shock — only as a pleasant warmth. An innovative method releases that energy into deeper tissue layers and converts it to heat, working precisely at the problem area in muscle, tendon, bone, or joint.
Capacitive mode concentrates energy in superficial structures such as muscle. Resistive mode routes more energy into deeper structures such as tendons and ligaments — the therapist switches modes to match the tissue being treated, without changing handpieces.
